Changes, July, 1994
The notepad program was launched assuming that it was in the directory
c:\windows\
Now, the notepad program is launched assuming that the file notepad.exe
is located on the PATH somewhere. This usually means that your WINDOWS
directory needs to be included in your PATH statement in AUTOEXEC.BAT
The documentation now advises that the threed.vbx file be kept with the
interface executable gs26wgui.exe, rather than moved into the Windows
subdirectory.
Other software may use more recent versions of the threed.vbx file, and I
have encountered different behaviour in details of how programmed button
clicks respond. Keeping the enclosed threed.vbx file in the directory
where gs26wgui.exe resides seems to result in this version of threed.vbx
being loaded. Let the other software put its version of threed.vbx into
the windows subdirectory.
